What This Means (2025 FDD)
Based on the 2025 Craters & Freighters Franchise Disclosure Document, the term 'Designated Manager' refers to the individual that the franchisee owner(s) selects to attend Craters & Freighters' annual franchisee convention.
This designee is expected to participate in the annual convention, which suggests that Craters & Freighters places importance on having either the owner or a responsible manager present at these events. The FDD states that the franchisee is responsible for all travel and living expenses incurred in connection with any such courses or training meetings.
Prospective franchisees should consider the costs associated with sending either themselves or a designated manager to these required events, as these costs can impact the overall profitability of the franchise. It is important to clarify with Craters & Freighters the specific responsibilities and authority a designated manager must possess to ensure they can effectively represent the franchise at the annual convention.
