The cost of any training provided by us (upon your request or as determined by us) to any Designated Manager engaged by you after the opening of your Franchised Business will be paid by you based on our then-current daily rate for additional training; you will also reimburse us for the out-of-pocket expenses we incur in providing such training including, but not limited to, all travel and living expenses.

What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to the 2025 Craters & Freighters Franchise Disclosure Document, if a franchisee engages a Designated Manager after the opening of their franchised business and requests training for them, the franchisee is responsible for covering specific costs. The franchisee will need to pay Craters & Freighters' then-current daily rate for the additional training provided.

In addition to the daily training rate, the franchisee must also reimburse Craters & Freighters for all out-of-pocket expenses incurred while providing the training. These expenses include, but are not limited to, travel and living costs for the Craters & Freighters trainers.

This means that a Craters & Freighters franchisee needs to budget not only for the training fee itself but also for the logistical costs associated with bringing trainers to their location. This could include expenses like airfare, accommodation, meals, and local transportation for the trainers. Franchisees should contact Craters & Freighters to understand the current daily training rate and to get an estimate of potential travel and living expenses to properly budget for this type of training.
