According to the 2024 Crab N Spice Franchise Disclosure Document, Crab N Spice may charge a franchisee a fee for providing in-person support. Specifically, if a franchisee requests advice regarding improving and developing their business or resolving operating problems, Crab N Spice will provide advice via telephone or electronic communication to the extent they deem reasonable. However, if the franchisee requests in-person support, Crab N Spice may charge a fee.

The fee for in-person support is currently $500 per day, in addition to any out-of-pocket expenses incurred by Crab N Spice employees providing the support. These out-of-pocket expenses include travel, lodging, and meals. This means that a franchisee needing on-site assistance from Crab N Spice could face significant costs beyond the daily support fee.

In addition, if a franchisee needs to send a new general manager to the initial training program, Crab N Spice will charge a fee, which is currently $250. Otherwise, Crab N Spice does not currently require additional training programs or refresher courses, but they have the right to do so.
