Crab_N_Spice Franchise · 2024 FDDAnswer from 2024 FDD Document
You do not have the right to relocate your business, and we have no obligation to approve any request for relocation. Our policy is to approve relocation of a franchisee's business on caseby-case basis, considering factors such as changes in demographics, profitability of your current business, or a loss of your premises due to circumstances beyond your control.

What This Means (2024 FDD)
According to the 2024 Crab N Spice Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees do not have a guaranteed right to relocate their business. Crab N Spice is under no obligation to approve a relocation request. However, Crab N Spice's policy is to consider relocation requests on a case-by-case basis.
When evaluating a relocation request, Crab N Spice will consider factors such as changes in the local demographics, the profitability of the franchisee's current business, or if the current premises are lost due to circumstances beyond the franchisee's control. This means that if a franchisee's current location becomes less viable due to shifts in the population or if the business is struggling financially, Crab N Spice might be more open to allowing a relocation.
It's important to note that even if one or more of these factors are present, Crab N Spice still has the discretion to deny a relocation request. Franchisees should carefully consider the initial location and market conditions before signing a franchise agreement, as relocation is not guaranteed. Prospective franchisees should discuss specific relocation scenarios with Crab N Spice to understand their likelihood of approval.
