What This Means (2024 FDD)

According to the 2024 Crab N Spice Franchise Disclosure Document, the initial training fee is $20,000. This fee, along with the site approval fee of $5,000 and the franchise fee of $20,000, are part of the initial fees paid to Crab N Spice. This total fee is uniform and non-refundable.

For franchisees who enter into a Multi-Unit Development Agreement (MUDA) to develop multiple Crab N Spice franchises, the franchise fee is $20,000 for each franchise. However, franchisees will not pay an additional training fee for units managed by the same person. The site approval fee will still be collected for each site as they are approved. All franchise fees are to be paid upon signing the MUDA and are non-refundable.

Prospective franchisees should note that while the initial training fee covers the standard pre-opening training for the Principal Executive and up to one other employee, franchisees are responsible for their own travel, lodging, meal, and other out-of-pocket expenses related to the training. Crab N Spice also reserves the right to change the length and content of the initial training program based on the experience and skill level of the individuals attending the program.
