What This Means (2024 FDD)
According to the 2024 Crab N Spice Franchise Disclosure Document, on-site support is provided in connection with the business opening. Specifically, Crab N Spice will have a representative provide on-site support for at least 7 days when the business opens. This support also includes assisting the franchisee in training employees.
Prior to opening, Crab N Spice offers several forms of assistance. They will review and advise on potential locations submitted by the franchisee. Crab N Spice also provides standard building plans, specifications, and decor requirements. Franchisees also receive suggested staffing levels and guidelines for hiring, along with operational instructions for training new employees.
After the business opens, Crab N Spice offers ongoing support via telephone or electronic communication for improving the business and resolving operational problems. In-person support is also available upon request, but Crab N Spice may charge a fee of $500 per day, plus out-of-pocket expenses such as travel, lodging, and meals, for providing this on-site support.
