What This Means (2024 FDD)

According to Crab N Spice's 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, while the franchisor does not charge a fee for the initial pre-opening training program, the franchisee is responsible for covering certain expenses. This training is offered to the Principal Executive and up to one additional employee at a Crab N Spice location designated by the franchisor.

The franchisee's financial responsibility extends to their own travel costs, including transportation to and from the training location. Additionally, franchisees must pay for their lodging expenses during the training period, ensuring they have accommodation near the designated training site.

Furthermore, franchisees are responsible for their meal expenses and any other out-of-pocket costs incurred while attending the pre-opening training. This means franchisees need to budget for all personal expenses during this period, as these costs are not covered by Crab N Spice.
