What This Means (2024 FDD)
According to Crab N Spice's 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees are not currently required to attend additional training programs or refresher courses. However, Crab N Spice retains the right to mandate such training in the future.
New general managers sent to the training program will incur a fee of $250. The initial training program is free for up to two people, but franchisees are responsible for covering their travel and living expenses during training. Both the franchisee and a manager must complete the training program to Crab N Spice's satisfaction at least four weeks before the business opens.
This policy is fairly standard in the franchise industry, where initial training is typically comprehensive, but ongoing training requirements can vary. Franchisees should be aware that while additional training is not currently required, Crab N Spice reserves the right to implement such requirements, which could involve additional costs and time commitments.
