What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Cr3 American Exteriors' 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, Cr3 American Exteriors has extensive rights to review a franchisee's business operations. Cr3 American Exteriors requires franchisees to provide unrestricted and independent electronic access to their computer systems and information. This access includes, but is not limited to, customer, transaction, and operational information.
Cr3 American Exteriors has the right to review a franchisee's business operations in person, by mail, or electronically. They can also inspect the franchisee's operations and obtain paper and electronic business records related to the Franchised Business and any other operations taking place through the Franchised Business.
Furthermore, if Cr3 American Exteriors requests a copy of any business records as part of a review, the franchisee must send these records at their own expense within five business days of receiving the request. This level of access and scrutiny is typical in franchising, allowing the franchisor to ensure brand consistency and compliance with operational standards. However, the franchisee bears the cost of providing requested records, which is an important financial consideration.
