What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Cr3 American Exteriors' 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees face specific restrictions regarding advertising and promotion. All advertising and promotional activities must be conducted in a dignified manner and adhere to Cr3 American Exteriors' standards and specifications. Franchisees are required to display the brand's Marks on all promotional materials as instructed by the franchisor. This ensures brand consistency and protects the brand's image across all franchise locations. Deviation from these standards could lead to a breach of the franchise agreement. These types of restrictions are common in franchising to maintain a consistent brand image.
Before using any advertising or promotional materials not already approved by Cr3 American Exteriors, franchisees must submit samples for written approval. The franchisor has 15 days to review and respond to the submitted materials. If no response is received within this timeframe, the materials are automatically considered disapproved. This review process allows Cr3 American Exteriors to maintain control over its brand messaging and ensure that all advertising aligns with its overall marketing strategy. Franchisees need to factor this 15-day approval period into their marketing timelines to avoid delays.
This approval process is typical in franchise systems, where franchisors seek to maintain brand consistency and quality control over marketing efforts. While it may seem restrictive, it is designed to protect the brand's reputation and ensure that all marketing efforts are aligned with the franchisor's overall strategy. Franchisees benefit from this system because it provides them with access to professionally developed marketing materials and guidance, while also ensuring that their advertising efforts are consistent with the brand's image. Franchisees should proactively communicate with Cr3 American Exteriors to understand their advertising standards and approval processes to ensure smooth and timely marketing campaigns.
