What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Cr3 American Exteriors's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, if a resolution is not reached after an initial meeting regarding a dispute, a party must formally request mediation within thirty days of receiving the other party's response. This request involves three specific actions.
First, the requesting party must complete the official request for mediation form available on the American Arbitration Association (AAA) website. Second, they must pay the applicable fee for initiating the mediation process. Third, the requesting party is required to notify the other party involved that they are formally requesting mediation.
Once these steps are completed, the mediation itself will be conducted according to the then-current mediation rules established by the American Arbitration Association. This structured approach ensures that both parties have a clear process to follow when attempting to resolve disputes outside of court.
