What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Cr3 American Exteriors' 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the initial technology package fee is generally non-refundable. The franchisee must pay an initial technology setup fee of $1,000, referred to as the "Initial Technology Package Fee." This fee covers the setup and a one-month license for using a designated third-party technology platform.

The fee is due in full before attending the Initial Training, which allows the franchisee to be trained on the technology platform. The FDD explicitly states that this $1,000 Initial Technology Package Fee is non-refundable once paid.

This means that under no circumstances will Cr3 American Exteriors refund the initial technology fee. This is different from the initial franchise fee, which is refundable under certain conditions if the application is not approved or if the initial training is not passed. Prospective franchisees should consider this non-refundable aspect of the technology fee when evaluating the overall investment and risks associated with the Cr3 American Exteriors franchise.
