We do not charge for you to attend Initial Training, but you are responsible for travel, lodging, transportation, meal costs, and your employees' wages to attend Initial Training. (Franchise Agreement, Section 6.2(A).
We require that you or, in the case of an entity, your principals, attend Initial Training. You may enroll your management personnel upon our approval.

What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Cr3 American Exteriors' 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, while the franchisor does not charge a fee for the initial training program, franchisees are responsible for covering certain expenses. These expenses include the costs of travel, lodging, transportation, and meals associated with attending the initial training.
Furthermore, if the franchisee sends employees to the initial training, they are responsible for paying the wages of those employees during the training period. The initial training is held quarterly, or more often if necessary, and is a mandatory part of starting a Cr3 American Exteriors franchise. The training can take place in Hanover, Pennsylvania, online, or at another designated area, at the franchisor's choosing.
In the event that Cr3 American Exteriors offers additional training or seminars, either live or electronically, franchisees are also responsible for any travel and living expenses incurred by themselves or the franchisor to attend such training or certification programs. This means that franchisees need to budget not only for the initial training expenses but also for potential ongoing training costs to stay updated with the Cr3 American Exteriors system.
