What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Counselor Realty's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, a prospective franchisee must wait 14 calendar days after signing the Acknowledgements of Receipt at the back of the Franchise Disclosure Document before making any payments to Counselor Realty. This mandatory waiting period is designed to provide franchisees with ample time to carefully review the FDD and seek professional advice.
This 14-day period allows potential franchisees to fully understand the terms and conditions of the franchise agreement before committing financially. It also gives them an opportunity to consult with legal and financial advisors to assess the risks and benefits of investing in a Counselor Realty franchise.
It is important for prospective franchisees to use this time wisely by thoroughly reviewing all documents and seeking expert advice. They should also refrain from taking any other action or making any commitments regarding a Counselor Realty franchise until they receive written notification from Counselor Realty that their application has been approved and a franchise has been issued in their name. This ensures that franchisees make informed decisions and are fully aware of their rights and obligations before entering into a franchise agreement with Counselor Realty.
