What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Counselor Realty's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, travel expenses are not included in the training fees. In addition to the training fees, the franchisee is responsible for covering all travel, living, and incidental expenses incurred by themselves, their employees, and Counselor Realty's trainers in connection with the training. The training fee is $175 per trainer per hour. These expenses are payable when billed.
The FDD estimates that these additional expenses could range from $0 to $750 per person per day, depending on whether travel is required and the third-party vendors selected. The exact amount of these fees and costs are unknown and may vary. It is important to note that neither the franchisee nor their employees will be paid by Counselor Realty during the training period.
Prospective franchisees should consider these additional costs when budgeting for the initial investment and ongoing expenses of operating a Counselor Realty franchise. It would be prudent to discuss with Counselor Realty the typical duration and location of training to better estimate potential travel and living expenses. Understanding these costs upfront will help in making an informed decision about investing in a Counselor Realty franchise.
