What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Counselor Realty's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees must pay a training fee of $175 per trainer per hour. This fee covers both initial and ongoing supplemental training provided at a Counselor Realty office or another designated location.

In addition to the hourly training fee, franchisees are responsible for covering all travel, living, and incidental expenses for themselves, their employees, and the Counselor Realty trainers. These additional costs could range from $0 to $750 per person per day, depending on travel requirements and other factors. The FDD notes that the exact amount of these fees and costs is unknown and may vary depending on third-party vendors selected.

It is important to note that neither the franchisee nor their employees will be paid by Counselor Realty during the training period. This means franchisees should factor in lost income or wages for themselves and their staff when budgeting for training expenses. The training fees and associated expenses are payable when billed by Counselor Realty.
