Counselor grants you the right to operate the Business under the Marks. Counselor reserves the right to change or discontinue any program or promotion relating to any of its trademarks, and periodically to add, alter or delete trademarks from the list of Marks licensed to you.
Counselor Holding holds or has applied for registration of the following Marks on the principal register in the United States Patent and Trademark Office:

What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to the 2025 Counselor Realty FDD, Counselor Realty has the right to modify its trademarks. Specifically, Counselor Realty reserves the right to change or discontinue any program or promotion relating to any of its trademarks. They can also periodically add, alter, or delete trademarks from the list of Marks licensed to the franchisee.
This means that the specific marks under which a franchisee operates their Counselor Realty business could change over time. These changes could include alterations to existing logos, the introduction of new marks, or the removal of existing marks. As stated in the FDD, the franchisee must offer and provide only the services, and be identified only by Marks, that Counselor Realty authorizes.
The franchisee is obligated to promptly conform their business to any revised requirements, at their own cost, when Counselor Realty makes changes to the System and the Marks. This could involve updating signage, marketing materials, and other branded items to reflect the new marks. While Counselor Realty is not obligated to protect the franchisee's use of the licensed Marks, the franchisee must use Counselor Realty's Marks only as specified by Counselor Realty in the Franchise Agreement and Franchise Policy Guidelines.
