What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Counselor Realty's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, initial training is not provided free of charge. The franchisee must pay a training fee of $175 per trainer per hour. This fee applies to both initial and supplemental training.

In addition to the hourly training fee, the franchisee is responsible for covering all travel, living, and incidental expenses incurred by both the franchisee and Counselor Realty's trainers. These expenses could range from $0 to $750 per person per day, depending on travel requirements and other factors. The FDD notes that the exact amount of these fees and costs is unknown and may vary depending upon factors, such as third-party vendors selected.

It is important to note that neither the franchisee nor their employees will be paid by Counselor Realty during the training period. This represents an additional cost to the franchisee, as they will need to cover their own living expenses and any lost income during training.
