What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Counselor Realty's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the method of payment for travel, living, and incidental expenses is not explicitly detailed. However, the FDD does state that these expenses, along with training fees, are payable when billed. This implies that Counselor Realty will invoice the franchisee for these costs.
Prospective franchisees should note that these expenses are in addition to the $175 per trainer per hour fee for training. The FDD estimates that these combined expenses could range from $0 to $750 per person per day, depending on travel requirements and third-party vendor costs. The franchisee is responsible for covering these costs for themselves, their employees, and Counselor Realty's trainers.
It is important for potential franchisees to budget for these training-related expenses. Since the exact method of payment is not specified, it would be prudent for a prospective franchisee to clarify with Counselor Realty whether they accept various payment methods such as credit card, check, or electronic transfer. Understanding the payment terms and preferred methods will help in managing cash flow and avoiding late payment penalties.
