What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to the 2025 Counselor Realty FDD, the document does not specify the content of the supplemental training. However, Counselor Realty does offer supplemental initial and ongoing training for franchisees and their key personnel. This training is provided at a Counselor Realty office or another location designated by Counselor Realty, at a mutually convenient time. Franchisees are responsible for a fee of $175 per trainer per hour for the training.

In addition to the hourly training fee, franchisees must cover all travel, living, and incidental expenses for themselves, their employees, and the Counselor Realty trainers. These expenses could range from $0, if no travel is required, up to $750 per person per day, depending on factors such as the vendors selected. Franchisees and their employees will not receive payment from Counselor Realty during the training period.

Prospective franchisees should inquire with Counselor Realty about the specific topics covered in the supplemental training, the typical duration of the training, and ways to minimize travel and living expenses to better estimate the overall cost of training.
