When will Counselor Realty send an invoice for the Mobile App Fee?

According to Counselor Realty's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees will receive an invoice for the Mobile App Fee at the beginning of each month. This invoice will reflect the amount owed for the prior month's Mobile App service. Franchisees are then required to pay this fee on or before the 20th day of the same month.

This means that if a Counselor Realty franchisee uses the mobile app in January, they will receive an invoice at the beginning of February. The franchisee must then ensure that Counselor Realty receives payment for the January mobile app usage by February 20th. This consistent monthly billing cycle allows franchisees to manage their expenses related to the mobile app service effectively.

It's important to note that the Mobile App setup is optional for most franchisees, except for those with office locations in the 11-county metropolitan area of the Twin Cities of Minneapolis and St. Paul, Minnesota. For franchisees in these specific counties, utilizing the Mobile App is mandatory. The Mobile App Fee covers the costs Counselor Realty incurs to initiate and maintain the franchisee's Mobile App service, including setup fees and monthly data/phone fees. The amount of the Mobile App Fee may be increased during the term of the franchise by Counselor from time to time in its sole discretion.
