What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to the 2025 FDD, Counselor Realty will provide supplemental initial and ongoing training for franchisees and their key personnel at a Counselor Realty office or another designated location at a mutually convenient time.

However, this training is not free. Counselor Realty charges a fee of $175 per trainer per hour for the training, including initial training. The franchisee is also responsible for covering all travel, living, and incidental expenses incurred by both the franchisee/employees and Counselor Realty's trainers in connection with the training.

This arrangement is fairly typical in the franchise industry, where franchisors often provide ongoing training opportunities but pass the direct costs on to franchisees. This allows franchisees to invest in additional training as needed while ensuring Counselor Realty is compensated for their trainers' time and expenses. Prospective franchisees should factor these training costs into their budget and consider the potential benefits of ongoing training in terms of improving their business operations and agent performance.
