What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Counselor Realty's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, a franchisee may relocate their business, but it requires prior written consent from Counselor Realty. The new location must be within the franchisee's designated territory.
The replacement office must be opened within 120 days after the previous location is closed. This timeframe is important for franchisees to consider, as any delays could lead to business disruption and potential loss of revenue.
Furthermore, the replacement office must adhere to all the requirements outlined in the Franchise Agreement and comply with the current system standards. This ensures that the relocated business maintains the brand's consistency and operational standards. Franchisees should carefully review these requirements to ensure they can meet them at the new location.
