What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Counselor Realty's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the franchisee is responsible for covering the travel, living, and incidental expenses incurred by both themselves and Counselor Realty's trainers in connection with any training programs. This includes initial training for up to two key personnel, as well as any supplemental or ongoing training requested by the franchisee. The franchisee must also pay Counselor Realty a training fee of $175 per trainer per hour.
This means that in addition to the hourly training fee, a prospective Counselor Realty franchisee needs to budget for all travel-related costs. These costs can include airfare, hotel accommodations, meals, and local transportation for both the franchisee's personnel and the trainers provided by Counselor Realty. These expenses can vary significantly depending on the location of the training, the duration of the training program, and the number of individuals involved.
It is important for prospective franchisees to factor in these additional expenses when evaluating the overall cost of opening a Counselor Realty franchise. Franchisees should discuss with Counselor Realty the estimated travel costs for training to get a clearer picture of the total investment required. Understanding these costs upfront will help in effective financial planning and prevent unexpected expenses during the initial phase of setting up the franchise.
