When is the Mobile App Fee due to Counselor Realty?

According to Counselor Realty's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the Mobile App Fee is invoiced monthly and due by the 20th of the month. Specifically, Counselor Realty will send franchisees an invoice at the beginning of each month for the Mobile App Fee incurred during the prior month. Franchisees are then required to pay this fee on or before the 20th day of the month in which the invoice is received.

This payment schedule means franchisees need to manage their cash flow to ensure timely payment. Failure to pay by the due date could result in late charges or other penalties, as outlined elsewhere in the FDD. The Mobile App Fee itself covers the costs Counselor Realty incurs to initiate and maintain the franchisee's Mobile App service, including setup and ongoing data/phone fees.

It's important to note that the Mobile App is optional for most franchisees, except for those with office locations in the 11-county metropolitan area of the Twin Cities of Minneapolis and St. Paul, Minnesota. These counties include Scott, Wright, Isanti, Dakota, Anoka, Hennepin, Washington, Carver, Ramsey, Sherburne, and Chisago. Franchisees in these areas are required to utilize the Mobile App and pay the associated fee. The amount of the Mobile App Fee can be increased at Counselor Realty's discretion during the franchise term.
