What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Counselor Realty's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, Counselor Realty will provide initial training to the franchisee and up to two key personnel. This training is provided at the franchisee's request, and the extent of the training is determined by Counselor Realty. The training typically covers various aspects of establishing and operating the business.
This means that as a franchisee, you can expect to receive initial training, and you can also have up to two members of your key staff trained as well. The actual content and duration of this training are at the discretion of Counselor Realty, so it's important to discuss your training needs with them. While the FDD mentions that the training will typically cover certain topics, the specifics can vary.
It is important to note that while Counselor Realty provides this initial training, the franchisee is responsible for all travel, living, and incidental expenses incurred by themselves, their employees, and Counselor Realty's trainers in connection with the training. Additionally, the franchisee will not be paid during the training period. If the franchisee or their personnel require additional or ongoing training, Counselor Realty can provide this at a rate of $175 per trainer per hour, with the franchisee covering all associated expenses.
