What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Counselor Realty's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the Regional Advertising Group is managed by a "Regional Advertising Committee". If a Counselor Realty office is located outside the Twin Cities metropolitan area, the franchisee must be a member of the Regional Advertising Group once it is established. Franchisees are also required to pay an advertising fee of $25 per agent per month to the Regional Advertising Fund.

The Regional Advertising Committee has the authority to increase the amount of advertising fees during the term of the Franchise Agreement. This increase requires a majority vote by the committee. The advertising fees are due by the 20th day of each month.

Prospective franchisees should inquire about the specific composition and responsibilities of the Regional Advertising Committee. Understanding how this committee operates and makes decisions regarding advertising expenditures is crucial for franchisees located outside the Twin Cities area.
