What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Counselor Realty's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, after Counselor Realty receives the Extension Office Application Materials, which includes a $750 fee for each location, they have 30 days to review the application and proposed location. During this time, Counselor Realty will assess whether to consent to the opening of the Extension Office.
Counselor Realty's consent is contingent upon reaching a mutual agreement with the franchisee regarding the minimum number of sales agents required to operate from the Extension Office. The Extension Office must also comply with all requirements of the Franchise Agreement and the current System standards.
This 30-day review period is a standard practice in franchising, allowing the franchisor to ensure that the proposed location aligns with the brand's strategic goals and operational standards. It is important for prospective franchisees to submit complete and accurate application materials to facilitate a smooth and timely review process.
