What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Counselor Realty's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, living expenses are not included in the training fees. The franchisee is responsible for covering all travel, living, and incidental expenses incurred by themselves, their employees, and Counselor Realty's trainers in connection with the training.

The FDD specifies that the cost for training is $175 per trainer per hour. In addition to this hourly fee, the franchisee must also pay for travel, living, and incidental costs, which Counselor Realty estimates could range from $0 to $750 per person per day. The estimate of $0 applies if neither the franchisee nor the trainers need to travel to attend the training. These additional costs make it difficult to determine the exact amount required for training, as it depends on factors such as the third-party vendors selected for travel and accommodation.

It is important to note that franchisees and their employees will not be paid by Counselor Realty during training. This means that franchisees must factor in lost income for themselves and their employees while they are undergoing training. The costs associated with training can vary significantly based on location, duration, and the number of people attending, so prospective franchisees should carefully consider these potential expenses when evaluating the Counselor Realty franchise opportunity.
