According to the 2025 Counselor Realty FDD, Counselor Realty reserves the right to change the marks licensed to franchisees. Specifically, Counselor Realty can add, alter, or delete trademarks from the list of marks licensed to the franchisee.

Counselor Realty also retains the right to change or discontinue any program or promotion related to its trademarks. As a result, franchisees must adapt their businesses to reflect any changes to the marks at their own cost.

This flexibility allows Counselor Realty to respond to market trends, legal requirements, or branding strategies. However, it also means that franchisees must be prepared to update their signage, marketing materials, and other branded items to comply with Counselor Realty's current standards. Franchisees must use Counselor Realty's marks only as specified in the Franchise Agreement and Franchise Policy Guidelines, and they cannot use the marks as part of a corporate, partnership, or trade name without consent.
