What This Means (2025 FDD)
Based on the 2025 Counselor Realty Franchise Disclosure Document, Item 6, "Other Fees," contains information about pre-opening purchases. Specifically, it mentions a Website Set Up Fee that franchisees must pay to Counselor Realty for the creation of a webpage or subdomain for their office.
Item 6 details the Website Set Up Fee, which is a one-time payment due upon signing the Franchise Agreement. This fee covers the initial setup of the franchisee's online presence. Additionally, Item 6 mentions a Website Fee, which is an ongoing charge associated with maintaining the franchisee's webpage and subdomains, as well as those of licensed agents operating through the office. These fees are essential for establishing and maintaining an online presence, which is crucial for attracting clients and generating leads in the real estate market.
Prospective franchisees should carefully review Item 6 of the 2025 FDD to understand the specific amounts and payment schedules for the Website Set Up Fee and the ongoing Website Fee. Understanding these costs is crucial for budgeting and financial planning when starting a Counselor Realty franchise.
