What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Counselor Realty's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the franchisor has the authority to increase the Website Fee during the term of the Franchise Agreement. The initial monthly Website Fee is $75 for each office location, including any Additional or Extension Offices. In addition to the base fee, there is a $25 charge for each licensed agent who chooses to have an optional agent website provided by Counselor Realty. For example, if a franchisee has 10 agents with optional websites, the total Website Fee would be $325 ($75 plus $25 multiplied by 10).

This means that a prospective Counselor Realty franchisee should be aware that their monthly Website Fee could increase over time. While the FDD does not specify the factors that Counselor Realty might consider when increasing the fee, it is within their sole discretion.

Franchisees should factor in the potential for increased Website Fees when budgeting and projecting their expenses. It would be prudent for a prospective franchisee to inquire about the frequency and magnitude of past Website Fee increases to better understand the potential financial impact on their business.
