What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Counselor Realty's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, Counselor Realty may require franchisees to utilize non-technology related tools and services relating to the business as it determines from time to time in its sole discretion. If Counselor Realty decides to provide or require such non-technology related tools and services, the franchisee will be obligated to pay associated fees. The amounts and payment schedules for these fees will be determined by Counselor Realty in its sole discretion.

This means that as a Counselor Realty franchisee, you may be required to adopt and pay for certain non-tech related tools or services that Counselor Realty deems necessary for the business. The FDD does not specify what these tools or services might be, but it does state that Counselor Realty has the authority to implement them and charge associated fees.

Prospective franchisees should be aware that these potential mandatory tools and services could add to the overall cost of operating the franchise. It is important to factor in the possibility of these additional, unspecified expenses when evaluating the financial feasibility of a Counselor Realty franchise. A prospective franchisee should ask Counselor Realty for examples of non-technology related tools and services that might be required, as well as an estimate of their potential costs.
