What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Counselor Realty's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the details regarding training can be found within the Franchise Agreement, specifically under Section 6.1, titled "Training." This section outlines the initial and ongoing training opportunities available to the franchisee and up to two key personnel. The training is provided at a Counselor Realty office or another location designated by Counselor Realty.
It's important to note that while Counselor Realty offers training, it comes at a cost. The franchisee is responsible for paying a fee of $175 per trainer per hour for the training, including the initial training. Additionally, the franchisee must cover all travel, living, and incidental expenses incurred by themselves, their employees, and Counselor Realty's trainers in connection with the training.
The Franchise Agreement also mentions that a copy of Counselor Realty's Franchise Policy Guidelines is available at their corporate office in Coon Rapids, Minnesota, and that these guidelines may change periodically. This suggests that the specifics of the training program, beyond the cost and location, are detailed in these guidelines, which are subject to change. Therefore, prospective franchisees should review the most current version of the Franchise Policy Guidelines to understand the full scope and content of the training provided by Counselor Realty.
