What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Counselor Realty's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees are responsible for specific training-related fees. Franchisees must pay Counselor Realty a training fee of $175 per trainer per hour for initial and supplemental training. This fee covers the cost of the trainer's time.

In addition to the hourly training fee, franchisees are also responsible for covering all travel, living, and incidental expenses for themselves, their employees, and Counselor Realty's trainers. The FDD estimates these expenses could range from $0 to $750 per person per day, depending on travel requirements and other factors. The exact amount can vary based on the vendors selected and the distance required for travel.

It is important to note that franchisees and their employees will not be paid by Counselor Realty during the training period. This means franchisees must factor in the cost of lost productivity while they and their staff are undergoing training. These training costs are payable when billed.
