Can Counselor Realty discontinue providing non-technology related tools and services?

Counselor may also provide you with or require you to utilize such non-technology related tools and services relating to the franchised business as Counselor determines from time to time in its sole discretion. Counselor will not be obligated to provide you with any such non-technology related tools or services, and reserves the right to discontinue providing any such non-technology related tools and services that Counselor may decide to provide at any time. Counselor also reserves the right to modify the terms and conditions regarding any such non-technology related tools and services that Counselor may decide to provide at any time. You will be obligated to pay Counselor fees associated with such non-technology related tools and services that Counselor decides to provide in such amounts, and at such times, as Counselor shall determine from time to time in its sole discretion.

What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Counselor Realty's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, Counselor Realty has the right to discontinue providing non-technology related tools and services. Counselor Realty may choose to provide or require franchisees to utilize non-technology related tools and services, but they are not obligated to do so.
Specifically, Counselor Realty reserves the right to discontinue providing any non-technology related tools and services that they may decide to provide at any time. They also reserve the right to modify the terms and conditions regarding any such non-technology related tools and services.
If Counselor Realty decides to provide these non-technology related tools and services, franchisees are obligated to pay associated fees in amounts and at times determined by Counselor Realty in its sole discretion. This means that while Counselor Realty can stop offering these tools, they can also change the fees or conditions related to them at any time, which could impact a franchisee's operating costs and business model.
