What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Counselor Realty's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the Website Set Up Fee is determined by the costs incurred by Counselor Realty in setting up a webpage for the franchisee's office on Counselor Realty's website. This fee applies to the initial office webpage, any additional office locations, and extension office locations, if the franchisee elects to have a webpage for these locations.
For a prospective franchisee, this means the Website Set Up Fee is not a fixed amount but rather varies based on the actual costs Counselor Realty incurs. This could include expenses related to design, development, and implementation of the webpage. It is important to note that the franchisee is responsible for paying this fee for each office location they wish to have a webpage for.
It is also important to note that the monthly Website Fee is separate from the Website Set Up Fee. The monthly Website Fee is a recurring charge, while the Website Set Up Fee is a one-time initial cost. Understanding the factors that contribute to the Website Set Up Fee can help a franchisee budget accordingly and potentially negotiate the scope of the webpage setup to manage costs.
