What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Counselor Realty's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the amount of initial training provided to franchisees and their key personnel is determined by Counselor Realty. While the training is provided at the franchisee's request, Counselor Realty decides the extent of this initial training.

Counselor Realty offers initial training to the franchisee and up to two key personnel. This training takes place at a Counselor Realty office or another location designated by Counselor Realty, scheduled at a mutually convenient time. The franchisee is responsible for paying a training fee of $175 per trainer per hour, as well as covering all travel, living, and incidental expenses for both the franchisee's employees and Counselor Realty's trainers.

In addition to initial training, Counselor Realty also provides supplemental initial and ongoing training. The length of supplemental training varies based on the subject matter and the franchisee's specific training needs. Counselor Realty's Franchise Chairperson coordinates the training, and other staff members may also assist. The Franchise Policy Guidelines, which are subject to change, are available at Counselor Realty's corporate office in Coon Rapids, Minnesota.
