What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Counselor Realty's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the franchisor will send an invoice at the beginning of each month for the Continuing Agent Fee. The franchisee is then required to pay this fee on or before the 20th day of that month.
This means a Counselor Realty franchisee has approximately 20 days to remit payment after receiving the invoice. The Continuing Agent Fee is based on the number of licensed agents operating through the franchisee's office. The fee structure is tiered, with different rates applying to different agent count ranges.
It is important for prospective franchisees to understand this monthly payment schedule and factor it into their financial planning. Failure to pay on time may result in late fees or other penalties as outlined in the franchise agreement.
