What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Counselor Realty's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the cost of training is dependent on the number of trainers used. The franchisee must pay Counselor Realty a fee of $175 per trainer per hour for both initial and supplemental training. This fee applies to training provided to the franchisee and up to two key personnel.
In addition to the hourly training fee, the franchisee is responsible for covering all travel, living, and incidental expenses incurred by themselves, their employees, and Counselor Realty's trainers during the training period. The FDD estimates these expenses could range from $0 to $750 per person per day, depending on travel requirements and other factors. The exact amount of these fees and costs are unknown and may vary depending upon factors, such as third-party vendors selected.
Prospective franchisees should consider these training costs when evaluating the overall investment required to start a Counselor Realty franchise. It is important to factor in the potential for multiple trainers and the associated hourly fees, as well as the variable travel and living expenses, to accurately estimate the total training expenses. Franchisees and their employees will not be paid by Counselor Realty during training.
