What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Counselor Realty's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees must pay a monthly website fee. This fee includes a base charge of $75 for each office location, including any additional or extension offices. In addition to the base fee, there is an additional charge of $25 per licensed agent who chooses to have an optional agent website provided by Counselor Realty.

For example, if a Counselor Realty franchisee has 10 agents who elect to have the optional agent website, the franchisee's total monthly website fee would be $325. This is calculated by adding the base fee of $75 to the agent fee of $25 multiplied by the number of agents (10), resulting in $75 + ($25 * 10) = $325.

The FDD also states that Counselor Realty retains the right to increase the amount of the website fee during the term of the franchise agreement at its sole discretion. Franchisees are invoiced monthly for these fees, which are due by the 20th of each month. This means that the cost for the optional agent website could potentially increase over time, impacting the overall expenses for the franchisee.
