You must display in your Restaurant all (1) product identification materials; (2) point-of-purchase promotional materials; (3) promotional memorabilia, merchandise and prizes; and (4) other advertising marketing materials we provide you pursuant to this Section 10 for use by Restaurants. At our request, you must display in a prominent, accessible place a "franchising opportunities" display furnished by us at our expense for the purpose of increasing public awareness of the availability of franchises.

What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Costa Vida Fresh Mexican Grill's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, as a franchisee, you are required to display specific materials within your restaurant. These include product identification materials, point-of-purchase promotional materials, promotional memorabilia, merchandise and prizes, and advertising and marketing materials provided by Costa Vida Fresh Mexican Grill for use by restaurants. This ensures a consistent brand image and promotional strategy across all franchise locations.
Costa Vida Fresh Mexican Grill mandates these displays to maintain uniformity and brand recognition. The franchisor also has the right to request that you display a "franchising opportunities" display in a prominent, accessible place at their expense, aimed at increasing public awareness of franchise availability.
Failure to comply with these display requirements could be a breach of the franchise agreement. While franchisees must display the materials mentioned above, they are restricted from offering any products or services (including promotional items) not authorized by Costa Vida Fresh Mexican Grill without prior approval. Additionally, franchisees cannot use Costa Vida Fresh Mexican Grill's designs or marks outside of approved specifications.
