What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to the 2025 Corporate Cleaning Group FDD, franchisees are generally prohibited from establishing their own websites or any other online listings related to the business, unless specifically permitted by the agreement. Corporate Cleaning Group maintains a central website providing information about the system, services, and products.
Franchisees may have their contact information listed on Corporate Cleaning Group's website, and they might be allowed to upload examples of their completed work, provided it meets the franchisor's content guidelines and quality standards. However, franchisees do not gain any ownership or proprietary rights to the franchisor's website, and any listing of their contact information will be removed upon termination or expiration of the franchise agreement.
This policy ensures brand consistency and centralized control over the online presence of Corporate Cleaning Group. While franchisees are restricted from creating independent websites, they may be required to use systems and web-based payment processing and bookkeeping accounts that allow Corporate Cleaning Group to access their information, including gross revenue. Additionally, franchisees must use the email account provided by Corporate Cleaning Group and promptly respond to communications from the franchisor.
Prospective franchisees should be aware that Corporate Cleaning Group retains ownership of all customer data collected or provided by the franchisee. The franchisor has the right to use this data without compensating the franchisee, licensing its use back to the franchisee solely for operating the franchised business. This license terminates automatically upon the expiration or termination of the franchise agreement. Franchisees should inquire about the specific conditions under which they can have a presence on the Corporate Cleaning Group website and how customer data is utilized.
