What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Cornwell Quality Tools's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the franchise agreement does not have a set term.
Regarding termination, a franchisee may terminate the Dealer Franchise Agreement at any time by providing Cornwell Quality Tools with 30 days' written notice. Cornwell Quality Tools can terminate the agreement after five years if they cease selling products in the state where the territory is located, providing at least one year's written notice. They also agree not to offer franchises again in that state for at least five years after termination.
Cornwell Quality Tools may terminate the agreement if the franchisee defaults on any obligation. The franchisee has 30 days to correct defaults due to non-payment or failure to maintain inventory purchase levels, although Cornwell Quality Tools may waive any default.
