What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Cordova's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the veteran's discount cannot be combined with other discounts on the initial franchise fee. Cordova offers a 10% discount off the initial franchise fee for honorably discharged veterans of the United States Military for their first Franchise Agreement.
To qualify for the veteran's discount, the applicant must request the discount at the time of their initial franchise application and provide documentation of military service. The initial franchise fee for a single territory is $40,000. Therefore, the veteran's discount would amount to $4,000 off the initial franchise fee.
Cordova also offers a discount for individuals with existing businesses that provide comparable services. This discount also cannot be combined with other discounts of the Initial Franchise Fee. This restriction is fairly common in franchising, as franchisors often limit the stacking of discounts to maintain financial viability and ensure consistent pricing for all franchisees.
