The training program takes place over an approximate one week period and is described below in this Item 11 in more detail.
Site Selection
You must obtain our approval of a site that you select for your Administrative Office. Generally, we do not typically own or lease the real property that will serve as your Administrative Office and you are responsible for all costs and expenses in locating and evaluating proposed sites. Before you enter into a lease or other agreement for your Administrative Office you must obtain our approval. Your Administrative Office must be located within your Operating Territory at a site that we approve. We will provide you with site selection guidelines.

What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Cordova's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the initial training program for franchisees or their Managing Owner and one Operating Manager is held at Cordova's training facility located in Omaha, Nebraska. The FDD also states that the initial training program for replacement Operating Managers will be provided at facilities that Cordova designates, which currently includes their affiliate-owned Cordova Business in Omaha, Nebraska, and potentially at certified training Cordova Businesses that they may designate in the future.
This means that new Cordova franchisees should plan to travel to Omaha, Nebraska, for their initial training. If they later need to train a replacement Operating Manager, the training will also likely occur in Omaha, unless Cordova establishes certified training locations elsewhere.
It is important to note that while the initial training itself is provided at no additional fee, franchisees are responsible for all travel expenses and employee wages related to attending the training. For replacement Operating Managers, the franchisee will be required to pay a supplemental training fee, which is currently $500 per manager per day.
