What factors does Cordova consider when evaluating a relocation request?
Cordova Franchise · 2025 FDDAnswer from 2025 FDD Document
Your right to relocate your Cordova Business and, thereby, your Operating Territory is not guaranteed and approval of a relocation request by you is completely at our discretion. We evaluate relocation requests on a case-by-case basis and consider factors such as operational history, the location of your Operating Territory, our expansion plans, and other factors that, at the time of a relocation request, are relevant to us.

What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Cordova's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the franchisor has complete discretion over relocation requests. Approval is not guaranteed. Cordova evaluates relocation requests on a case-by-case basis.
Cordova considers factors such as the franchisee's operational history, the location of the current operating territory, and Cordova's expansion plans. The FDD also states that Cordova considers other factors that are relevant at the time of the relocation request.
This means that a franchisee's ability to move their Cordova business to a different location is subject to Cordova's approval, and the decision will depend on various factors that Cordova deems relevant at the time of the request. This gives Cordova significant flexibility in managing its franchise network and expansion strategy.
