What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Cordova's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, to receive the veteran's discount, qualified individuals who were honorably discharged from any branch of the United States Military must provide documented military service. This discount is 10% off the Initial Franchise Fee for your first Franchise Agreement.
The veteran's discount must be requested at the time of your initial franchise application. This is a fairly standard practice in the franchise industry, as many franchisors offer incentives to veterans as a way to support those who have served in the military.
It is important to note that the veteran's discount cannot be combined with other discounts of the Initial Franchise Fee, such as the discount for converting an existing business to a Cordova franchise. Therefore, prospective franchisees should carefully consider which discount provides the greatest financial benefit. The standard initial franchise fee is $40,000 for a territory.
