After you sign your Franchise Agreement, we will provide you, your Responsible Broker (or designee) with Orientation. (Franchise Agreement, Section 6.1.1.) The program is mandatory and must be completed to our satisfaction within 12 months after the Opening Date of your Main Office. Orientation is completed as part of your multi-week transition into the brand, and includes a customized learning plan, which may include mandatory attendance in our virtual Leadership Courses offered by Agent Studio® (topics are reflected in the table below). In the event we begin to offer an in-person Orientation, it will be held at or near our corporate office in Madison, New Jersey, or in one of the Corcoran offices located in New York City; however, we may offer a virtual option. You are not required to attend Orientation so long as one your Responsible Broker or a designee from your Office attends. The Orientation (excluding travel, lodging and other incidental expenses) will be provided free of charge to one attendee (as noted above). If you attend

What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Corcoran's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, after signing the Franchise Agreement, the franchisee or their Responsible Broker (or designee) is required to attend the Orientation program. This program is mandatory and must be completed within 12 months after the Main Office's Opening Date.

The Orientation is part of a multi-week transition into the Corcoran brand and includes a customized learning plan, potentially involving mandatory virtual Leadership Courses offered by Agent Studio®. While attendance is generally required, the franchisee is not obligated to attend if their Responsible Broker or a designee from their office attends in their place.

Corcoran determines how often Orientation is offered, but it will be available at least once per year. The Orientation program itself is provided free of charge for one attendee, but this excludes costs for travel, lodging, and other incidental expenses. If attending any in-person portion of the Orientation, there is a registration fee, which is currently $1,200 for each attendee.
