What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Corcoran's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, a franchisee or their representative must attend the Corcoran Conference, if held, every other calendar year. The franchisee is also expected to encourage their independent agents and employees to attend.
Even if the franchisee or their representative does not attend the Corcoran Conference, the franchisee must still pay at least one registration fee for the conference. If Corcoran has not received a registration from the franchisee's office by the time of the conference, Corcoran has the right to bill the franchisee for one full-price registration fee.
The franchisee and their attendees are responsible for the then-current registration fee, as well as costs for transportation, lodging, and other incidental expenses related to attending the Corcoran Conference. Corcoran may also require attendance at other brand business conferences in the future, with similar requirements for registration fees and covering attendance costs.
